Sustainability

& Inclusivity

Sustainable partners

For the production of our products we have selected companies that offer good working conditions and focus on fairtrade and sustainable production.

Sustainable products

All our products are made from natural and if possible recycled materials.

The raw materials used in the production of the Porcelain Tea Mug (clay, silica and flint) are all natural materials that are in ample supply in nature and are easy to extract with minimal impact on the environment. The production process to create porcelain is sustainable as well; all raw materials can be recycled, including the water used in the process.

The packaging and stuffing materials to protect the mugs are all made from recycled card board. The foil used in our gift packages is biodegradable.

CO2 Footprint

Our products are of very high quality and have a long lifespan. Our porcelain, for example, is extremely strong and durable. Because the mugs only use raw natural materials that are widely available, it is an environmentally conscious product. Our Quinten-Art Porcelain Mug is therefore not only a beautiful, but also sustainable alternative to the plastic or paper single-use cups used in offices.

Some of our products are made abroad and are shipped to The Netherlands. To reduce the CO2 footprint of shipping as much as possible the products are shipped in bulk and the CO2 offset by planting trees.

For our future products we will opt for local production whenever possible.

Inclusivity

With Quinten-Art we want to contribute to a more inclusive society. By selling products with designs made by people with autism we want to provide a stage for their talents. Part of every product sold will go back to the designer. This way we want to help build self-confidence and self-reliance for our designers, so they can be an inspiration for other people with and without autism.

Together we can make the world a little more beautiful

At Hesselink Coffee we want to contribute to building a better and more inclusive society. When we saw Quinten’s drawings we immediately knew we wanted to print them on our ‘meaningful art’ coffee cups. With our meaningful art series we want to raise awareness of the unique talents of people with autism and help make the world a little more beautiful.
